Our client based in Cheltenham are looking for a skilled Wood Machinist to join their team.

Wood Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC timber machinery
• Machine both softwood and hardwood to meet stock and custom specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient mill environment
• Collaborate with management to ensure smooth production workflows
• Consistently uphold high standards of housekeeping across the workspace
• Ensure all products are machined to a high quality and professionally packaged
• Support team members in preparing accurate and timely customer deliveries
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, working responsibly to protect colleagues, equipment, and materials

Wood Machinist Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience setting up and operating CNC machines
• Hands-on experience working with timber
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A proactive and team-oriented attitude
• Awareness of safety protocols in a production or workshop setting

Wood Machinist Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
• Christmas and New Year Shutdown
• Free parking on-site
