£25,000 - £34,000 Per annum

Our client, is recruiting for an enthusiastic tool maker to join their team.

Toolmaker roles and responsibilities:

• Work to issued drawings for creating new tooling
• Repair and maintain high speed multistage progression tools for production
• Maintain the tools to ensure their longevity
• Preventative maintenance of all aspects of machining and bench fitting e.g., turning mills and grinding
• Testing tooling before use
• Observe and asses the remaining lifespan of a press tool to ensure new parts can be ordered
• Utilization of precision/ optical measuring equipment to maintain tooling
• Replace pilots, probe pins, springs, designing and making special fixtures
• Abide by health and safety requirements

The ideal Toolmaker will have:

• A keen eye for detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Problem solving skills
