Our client, design and manufacture components for the Aerospace, Maritime and contract markets. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their growing team as a Stores Operative!
Stores Operative Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Stores Administrator, Production and Purchasing Managers to ensure an effective workflow
- Ensure that current and future jobs are kitted and the production team have the parts they need to keep the production on schedule
- Process goods-in (internal and external)
- Picking and packing components, performing quality inspections on components (visual and dimensional)
- Ensure that parts are put in the required kits
- Support the bi-annual stock take
The ideal Stores Operative will:
- Prior experience of working in production teams
- Experience within the manufacturing industry
- Be organized and able to manage own workload
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00
- Friday 08:00 – 16:00
- 1x 20 minute break and 1x 30 minute break for Lunch
