Our client is recruiting for a proactive Stores Manager to oversee their stores management and health & safety protocols. They are leaders in their industry, with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that are incomparable!
Stores and Health & Safety Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the creation and implementation of stores procedures
- Lead and manage a team of stores personnel, provide stores training and deliver health and safety training programs for employees
- Implement strategies to optimize stores operations, including inventory management, stock control, and logistics
- Supervise the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products
- Ensure accuracy in inventory records through regular audits and reconciliation
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments to meet material and product requirements
- Implement best practices for warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and potential risks in the workplace
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implement corrective and preventive measures for these
- Be aware of changes in health and safety legislation and ensure company policies and procedures are updated accordingly
- Prepare and present reports on stores performance, inventory levels, and health & safety metrics to management
The ideal Stores and Health & Safety Manager will:
- Experience in stores management in an OEM sector
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) (desirable)
- Supply Chain Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (desirable)
Working Hours + Benefits:
- Monday – Thursday: 8am - 5pm
- Friday: 8am - 2pm
