Our client is recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join their growing team!
Quality Manager roles and responsibilities:
- Implement, manage and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with internationally recognised quality standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements which apply to country activities, business needs and our products and services
- Fulfil the role as Quality Management Representative of the Quality Management System, ensuring that executive management is informed of quality issues and potential risks and that appropriate actions and resources are applied to quality and compliance concerns
- Leading the internal and external audit programmes
- Provide direction for internal process improvements, including sales, after sales, manufacturing, new product design, technical services and other applicable business activities
- Training the company in quality activities and raising awareness of quality requirements
- Manage and carry out customer quality activities such reviewing customer requirements, creating PPAP documentation, complaint handling and customer audits
- Working with the engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and use quality inspection and control documentation
- Working with the procurement team to manage supplier quality
- Drive simplification and standardisation of quality processes
- Hands-on QC activities with the manufacturing and engineering teams
- Part of your role will be to identify what additional resources we need to meet our quality requirements and this may include recruiting a Quality Engineer / Technician as a direct report into this role
