Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their busy electronics manufacturing team in Newbury. This is a hands-on quality role, suited to someone with previous experience inspecting electronic assemblies and a good understanding of IPC standards.
Quality Inspector Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect electronic assemblies and components to required quality standards
- Carry out visual inspection of PCB assemblies
- Identify defects, faults and quality issues
- Work to IPC-A-610 standards
- Work to IPC-7711 standards
- Complete quality checks and inspection records
- Ensure products meet customer and production requirements
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Support continuous improvement and maintain quality standards
Quality Inspector Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within electronics manufacturing
- Must hold IPC-A-610 certification
- Must hold IPC-7711 certification
- Experience inspecting PCB and electronic assemblies
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to identify defects and workmanship issues
- Good understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
- Able to work from drawings, specifications and quality documentation
Quality Inspector Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday, 07:45 – 16:45
- Friday 06:00 – 16:45
