Quality Inspector 

Lechlade

£25,500 - £27,500 Per Annum

Our long standing client, leaders in their industry are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their ever growing team!

Quality Inspector Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical testing of manufactured product using ATE, multimeter, megger or other test equipment as required
  • Conduct in-process inspection activity as defined on the products associated documentation and management information systems (crimping; soldering; torque tightening etc.)
  • Record results of in-process and final inspections on the relevant statistical spreadsheets
  • In the absence of a Senior Inspector or Production Team Leader, carry out tooling checks of crimp tools and settings
  • Conduct final inspection of manufactured product to drawing, customer specification and/or internal ATPs, including dimensional & documentation checks
  • Complete final inspection & test record/results sheet
  • Within your area of work highlight risks and to your Line Manager and the Health and Safety Team
  • Carry out First Article Inspection
  • Complete First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)
  • Comply with health & safety requirements and proactively ensure the safety and wellbeing of yourself and colleagues within the Inspection department and wider production areas
  • Carry out goods receiving inspection of supplied product
  • Log work through on Vantage computer system

The ideal Quality Inspector will:

  • Have minimum of 2 years’ experience in Inspection role in similar organisation and industry segment
  • Understanding of harness manufacture
  • Evidence of excellent problem-solving and communication skills
