Purchasing Assistant
£480 per Week
40 hours a week - Monday to Friday
Based near Cirencester
Our client, based in Ampney Crucis is looking to expand their current team and recruit a Purchasing Assistant.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to;
- Placing orders
- Compile and send enquiries
- Negotiation
- Sourcing
- Chasing pending orders and cancellation of old orders
- KPI Reporting
- Quality control and reports
- Stock control and shipment organisation
- Packaging administration
- Other administrational reports
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in planning and execution
- Experience in negotiating
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures
- Ability to manage resources and budget
- Ability to deliver presentations
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel
- Ability to strengthen existing and new supplier relationships
- Good numeracy skills
