Our client in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Pump Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Pump Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

• Inspect, disassemble, repair, and rebuild industrial pumps according to manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose mechanical issues and propose effective solutions
• Document repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance procedures accurately
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve processes and equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations at all times
• Perform routine maintenance and testing to ensure pumps meet operational standards

Pump Engineer Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in rebuilding pumps
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and testing equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings and manuals

Pump Engineer Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
