Project Engineer
Towcester, Northamptonshire
£28,000 - £30,000 Per Annum
Our client, is looking for a Project Engineer to join them!
Project Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Gain full understanding of the company’s processes and procedures
- Designing fixturing through use of CAD (Solidworks)
- Cleaning, assembling components and fixturing for vacuum chamber process following drawings
- Carry out routine production runs
- Inspection of components using microscope, profilometer and flatness instrumentation
- Liaise with external partners and suppliers to ensure a timely cost-effective delivery
- Work with departments in house to maintain project successes
- Completion of production, quality and inspection documentation
- Implement and manage approved projects
The ideal Project Engineer will have/ be:
- BEng Engineering preferably mechanical
- Knowledge of sustainability process
- Good attention to detail, hardworking and reliable
- Excellent project leadership and management skills
- The ability to analyse and draw conclusions from Research and Development data
- Sound practical knowledge and understanding of Engineering principles
- Experience of working in a manufacturing, production or workshop environment
- Basic CAD Skills and a willingness to build on these skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft IT based software programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook etc
- Understand and be able to work following Health and Safety Regulations & ISO9001/14001 guidelines
Working hours:
- Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
- 30 minutes lunch break
- 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays
