Our client, a well-established ever growing company in the aerospace sector is looking for a Programme/ Setter/ Operator.
The Programme/ Setter/ Operator Key Responsibilities:
- To complete a variety of Machining tasks
- Fully Set and Operate a range of Fully Automated CNC Lathes and Milling Machines
- Check that all works orders, drawings and materials correspond to meets quality and technical standards
- Carry out inspection and measurement tasks
- Understand and able to programme using Fanuc controls an advantage
The ideal Programme/ Setter/ Operator will have:
- Engineering Apprenticeship / City & Guilds / Level 3 NVQ / BTEC
- Knowledge and experience of operating CNC Turning machines is essential
- Knowledge and experience of operating Wire EDM machinery an advantage
- Understand and able to programme using Fanuc controls an advantage
- The knowledge and ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs
