Are you looking for a new role? Our well-established client based in Cirencester is looking for a Production Controller to join their busy and fast-growing company!

Production Controller Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and publishing the production plan to reach delivery request dates for customers
  • Maintaining precise details of dispatch performance
  • Analyse by key product types to identify and report specific areas of underperformance
  • Make sure that Machine and Fabrication Shops are loaded to provide a smooth and consistent supply of parts to assembly departments enabling achievement of customer delivery request dates
  • Ensure production departments are loaded reach targeted lead times
  • Communicate with Sales and Manufacturing Director on scheduling of new products
  • Design and preserve a production capacity plan
  • Lead a key role in Production meetings to develop all activities influencing performance
  • Correcting maintenance of all Kanban Systems within production sectors
  • Communicate with every manager and supervisors when needed on production plans
  • Keep an eye on WIP and prepare for possible issues
  • Make sure new and existing team members are fully trained and their ability to progress through training and experiences
  • Identify, count and recommend methods, layouts and equipment which increase productivity
  • Always apply the company rules and regulations involving safety, conduct and discipline
  • Proactively getting involved with safety culture to ensure safety of everyone at work
  • Bring up any safety concerns to the associate individual

The ideal Production Controller will:

  • Be an experienced administrator within a manufacturing environment
  • Have experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Be computer literate to be proficient in Word and Excel

Working Hours + Benefits:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
  • Friday 07:30 – 11:30am
  • 30 min lunch breaks
