Mobile Service Engineer

Our client has been established for over 40 years, specialising in design, development and production of construction and agricultural equipment. They are looking for a responsible, enthusiastic, and personable Service Engineer to join their growing team!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out repairs and service work on site on the company’s portfolio of British Manufactured products
- Dealing face to face with clients from the agricultural, construction, utilities, telecommunication, and ground care industries
- Working with pneumatic, hydraulics, electrics, and mechanical aspects of products
- Carrying out tests and fault find when required, showing attention to detail to ensure that all units pass further inspection and testing
- Assemble/clean components ready for dispatch completing PDI sheets
- Work alongside supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow
- Complete Job sheets to a high standard from repair description to parts used
- Make sure Service vehicle is always clean and presentable and stocked with fast moving parts
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/ Be:
- A background or formal qualification in Agricultural, Plant or Commercial Engineering
- Experience using a variety of hydraulic, electric, and manual tools
- Able to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Fantastic attention to detail
- Able to work well within a team and as an individual
- Assertive with a positive outlook to any task
- Flexible enough to handle working under pressure and a time restraint to resolve any issues
- Great customer service skills with the ability to upsell
- Crane experience and ALLMI Lorry Loader Card (Desirable)
- Experience working within a Quality Management System and an awareness of any Environmental impacts
