Manufacturing Technician

£23,000 - £25,000 per annum
Our well-established client based in Swindon are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to add to their successful company.
As a Manufacturing Technician you will mainly be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- The correct setting of machine tools, both conventional & CNC, to meet daily production targets.
- Training Operators in correct & safe process methods, gauging and quality standards.
- Ensure 6’s’ & TPM checks are actioned, and good housekeeping standards are maintained in your area.
- Highlight any maintenance issues and report critical breakdowns to your Cell Leader.
- Work to ‘Delivery To Stores’ schedule to improve On Time Delivery to internal & external customers.
- Liaise with Stores & Assy & Test depts on build & delivery requirements.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are adhered to & met at all times.
Manufacturing Technician Person Specification:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- At least 2 years of setting experience, including CNC setting
