Junior Quality Technician

£26,000 - £29,000 Per Annum
Our client, a well-established and dynamic engineering and manufacturing company are looking to expand! They are currently looking for an Junior Quality Technician to join them.
Junior Quality Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out product tests and final inspection of finished assemblies to procedure
- Goods In Inspection, and inspection of all components at all stages of the manufacturing process as required
- Responsible for checking, progressing, and collating accurate build and inspection records
- Support and participate in process improvement activities
- Formally reporting all defects, alerting the Quality Manager of ongoing problems and delivering resolutions
- Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action paperwork and ensure issues are addressed and resolved
- Ensuring all incidents of non-conformance are recorded
- Preparation of ISIR, inspection checklists and other required inspection documentation
- Support the development and role out of the companies quality processes and internal systems (such as ERP system)
- Work closely with different departments to help support the efficient production of parts
The ideal Junior Quality Technician will:
- Have previously worked within a Quality Department
- Be able to use Microsoft Office packages including Excel
- Previously worked within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Have an understanding of System25 build assemblies (desirable)
- Experience of using Cirris Tester (desirable)
- Experience working in electrical/ wire harness inspection (desirable)
