Our client is recruiting for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join their growing team!

Internal Sales Executive roles and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Sales/Hire Management Team by identifying new hire and sales opportunities

  • Generate revenue and help the business grow through pro-active business development

  • Internal account management of existing and new customers

  • Generate leads and cold call prospects in a defined sales region (minimum of 15 prospect conversations and 10 account maintenance conversations a day)

  • Foster and develop relationships with lapsed and existing customers

  • Deal with pricing enquiries, preparing and sending out quotes & following up in a timely manner

  • Sales and hire enquiry progression – converting sales enquiries in to sales/hires

  • Promote attachment repairs/parts service to customers and prospects & liaise with Parts & Service Manager accordingly

  • Support the Account Manager with incoming sales enquiries, quotes and confirming orders

  • Support the Sales Team with calls, customer queries and processing sales quotations

  • Research and identify new business opportunities using all available tools (Google, LinkedIn etc.), seeking out the appropriate contact

  • Research existing key clients, keeping in touch with the key personnel by phone and email and developing these accounts further alongside the ASM’s

  • Provide a high level of service to customers through understanding their requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders and providing advice

  • Have a good understanding of the company’s products and services and be able to advise others about them

  • Take full ownership of your own sales performance in order to meet/exceed targets

  • Book appointments for Area Sales Managers

  • Send out company information to customers and prospects and follow up

  • Follow up email marketing data and convert to sales or hire

  • Create brand awareness, acting as an ambassador for the company

  • Any other duties in line with business and departmental needs


The ideal Internal Sales Executive will be:

  • Sales-driven person who enjoys the thrill of gaining new business

  • Must have proven Telesales/Business Development experience

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal - with the ability to adapt and influence

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to build relationships with customers and potential customers

  • Personable, confident, self-starter able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Ability to multi task & remain calm in difficult or pressurised situation

  • Good administrative and organisational skills with the focus on attention to detail

  • Excellent IT skills (Previous experience of CRM program an advantage)

Internal Sales Executive Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 - 17:30
