Harnessing Technician (£15 – £20 Per Hour)

Are you an experienced Harnessing Technician? Motorsport, Military or Aerospace Harnessing?

Our well-established client based in Northampton are looking to recruit a Harnessing Technician on a contract basis, due to expansion.

Harnessing Technician role:

Manufacture of high-end Military and Motorsport harnessing
Breaking down customer drawings and schematics
Manufacture of prototype harnessing and creating manufacturing build notes
Off site customer support
Ability to manage a team of production operators
Crimping and termination, both hand and machine
Soldering
Wire cutting and hand laying
Termination of screened cables
Knowledge of heat shrink products including tubing and moulded parts
Previous experience in the cable assembly industry is required and preferably certified to IPC\WHMA-A-620

Own transport desirable due to our client's location.
