Our client is recruiting for an experienced Fuel Cell Systems Engineer to join their growing team!

Fuel Cell Systems Engineer roles and responsibilities:

• Fuel cell development and integration projects across a range of vehicles and applications

• Lead the mechanical, electrical and controls integration of the fuel cell in associated systems

• Engaging with customers and other key stakeholders to support the generation of fuel cell project requirements

• Support the development of fuel cell simulation models including chemical, electrical and control systems using model-based code and/or embedded C/C++ software development environments

• Assist, verify and validation of fuel cell systems, fuel cell system integration, commissioning and testing

• Provide project/product life cycle management and customer technical support

The ideal Fuel Cell Systems Engineer will be:

• Have a degree in engineering or other relevant discipline

• 2-5+ years' experience in a relevant role or industry

• Knowledge of hydrogen PEM and/or other fuel cell technologies

• Fuel cell engineering experience in a relevant industry

• Knowledge of, and experience of working to, automotive, aerospace, rail or similar engineering standards and processes

• Appreciation of ISO 26262, UN ECE Regulation 10, UN ECE Regulation 100 and relevant fuel cell and hydrogen standards

• Experience in working on the delivery of time-pressured projects and working in a customer-facing environment
