Our client, a rapidly growing engineering company based in Chesterfield, is seeking an Experienced Fabricator to join their dynamic team.
Experienced Fabricator Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general fabrication work on a range of steel structures and components
- Interpreting and working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and drilling steel and plate
- Carrying out high-quality MIG welding
- Assembling and fabricating components to a high standard of accuracy and quality
- Using a range of workshop tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
- Maintaining strict adherence to all Health & Safety procedures and site policies
Experienced Fabricator Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working as a Fabricator within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Confident with general fabrication and steelwork
- Strong MIG welding skills
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experienced in measuring, marking out, cutting, and assembling components
- Comfortable using a range of fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Experienced Fabricator Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday, 06:00 – 16:30
- Overtime rate time and half
- Company pension
- Onsite parking
- Sick pay
