Design Engineer

£30,000 Per Annum
Our client Is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team.
Design Engineer responsibilities:
- Participation in and maintaining the ISO:9000 QA system & procedures with the support of fellow employees
- Responsibility for generating the drawings of STT products for manufacture
- Maintaining up-to-date drawing records
- Having a good working knowledge of shell & tube, and charge air heat exchanger
- Produce manufacturing drawings of a variety of Heat Exchangers in accordance with the applicable standards and specifications
The ideal Design Engineer will have:
- The ability to generate and compile drawings, including generating the bill of materials
- Able to check and approve drawings for manufacture using the sales and contracts information
- Carried out in-house & on-site ‘measure ups’
- Used AutoCAD 2011/2012 and Solidworks to generate drawings
- Experience of interacting with Customer/Engineering Department to finalise unit design following internal handover
- Experience of producing electric wiring diagrams
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 08:30am – 5pm
