Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, who will carry out a varied, fast-paced role and will be looking to progress their career within a forward-thinking company.
Design Engineer Role:
- Design of products using Solidworks
- Prototype assembly
- Be able to prioritise effectively and work on own initiative
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director
- Travel to the USA required periodically to discuss key projects
Design Engineer Person Specification:
- Use of Solidworks
- Must have skills for R&D
- Experience with sheet metal
- Knowledge of plastic injection moulding (desirable)
- Knowledge of vacuum forming (desirable)
- Proven track record within a similar role
