We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join an established precision engineering business based in Kensworth, near Dunstable.

CNC Turner Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Program, set and operate CNC turning machinery
  • Create CNC programmes offline using CAD/CAM
  • Work from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Ensure components are produced to the required quality standards and tolerances
  • Meet production deadlines and internal milestones
  • Identify and resolve machining and production issues
  • Maintain a high standard of quality throughout the manufacturing process
  • Work effectively as part of a team

CNC Turner Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience in CNC turning
  • Strong CNC programming, setting and operating experience
  • Experience using CAD/CAM
  • The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • Experience machining different materials
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and hands-on approach
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Good computer skills
  • CMM experience is desirable

CNC Turner Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Monday – Thursday, 07:45 – 16:15
  • Fridays, 07:45 – 15:15
  • 39 hours per week
  • Overtime paid at time and a half
  • 20 days holiday
