CNC Miller/ Turn Programmer

Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire 

£30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum

Our client, a well-established ever growing company in the aerospace sector is looking for a skilled CNC Mill/ Turn Programmer.

CNC Mill/ Turner Programmer responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC MILL/TURN Lathe machines with FANUC operating control system to produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications
  • Producing offline and online CNC programs
  • Use fully fixture and tool[cutters] to produce component to drawing
  • Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
  • General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled
  • Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S

The ideal CNC Mill/ Turn Programmer will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in milling or turning
  • Knowledge and experience of Edgecam software/programming is an advantage but not essential
  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
  • knowledge of Aerospace Quality or similar 
  • General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled
  • Adept with FANUC Controls and have solid experience in the aerospace industry

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Full-time
  • Flexi-time schedule + four day working week
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Offers further training and education
