Our client is recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join their growing team!

Buyer roles and responsibilities:

  • Responding to purchase orders and requests
  • Responsible for purchase order from placement to receipt
  • Achieving the highest value in all transactions
  • Building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
  • Working cohesively with different functions on special purchase requirements
  • Buying of consumable items and parts to support maintenance, repair and overhaul activities
  • Updating and maintaining online catalogues and Excel Spreadsheets
  • Booking of transport collections and deliveries to and from EU
  • Maintaining online shipment tracking system

The ideal Buyer will be:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good administrative and organisational skills
  • Team player with the ability to use own initiative
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Basic Excel user level, Intermediate level ideally
  • Able to self-motivate and take ownership of their job role
