Our client who specialises in Precision Engineering, is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join their growing team!

Assembly Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions and established procedures
  • Ensure all assembled components meet the required specifications and quality standards
  • Assemble in accordance with kit Kanban requirements
  • Identify and rectify any assembly defects
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area (5C)
  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures
  • Assist with the maintenance of assembly tools and equipment
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Adhere to the QMS of the business and maintain compliance to all customer quality requirements and AS9100
  • Correctly identify Non-conformances and engage in Quality Clinic investigations

The ideal Assembly Engineer will:

  • Proven experience as an Assembler or similar role within an engineering environment
  • A strong understanding of mechanical assembly principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to demonstrate good use of initiative and problem solving
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain focused on highly detailed work and remain accurate
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required
  • Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline is desirable, but not necessary (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering)

Working Hours + Benefits:

  • Full Time, Permanent Position
  • 8am – 5pm
